We had the version that came with a small stuffed rabbit, and my kids loved tugging on its arms and legs while we read. In our house, saying “I love you” is a nightly habit — my husband never skips it at bedtime. I think hearing it from a parent, no matter what happened that day, is what lets kids feel truly safe. This book is a lovely excuse to say “I love you” a few extra times.
